ON IMPACT: A guide to the Impact Revolution

What kind of world do we want to live in? That’s the question confronting all of us today. Our world is beset by disquiet and uncertainty, and it has frozen us into inaction. Yet there is a powerful solution within our grasp: Impact. Envision a world where inequality is shrinking. Where natural resources are regenerated, and people can unlock their full potential and benefit from shared prosperity. A world focused no only on minimizing harm, but on doing measurable good. This is the Impact Revolution. Each and every one of us has a role to play in it. What will be your role? * * * * * The Impact Revolution is a movement in which we all play a part. It introduces a simple change, but one that has enormous ramifications for our world: the incorporation of social and environmental impact as a key consideration in the way we think, make decisions, and act. It is a change that has already begun, and one that permeates all elements of our society. “In the 19th century, investors focused on returns; in the 20th, they shifted to measuring risk and return. In the 21st century we must adopt a new paradigm of risk-return-impact. It is this triple helix of our society’s new DNA that will bring us to a better world.”
